Description
Plant Appearance: Schefflera Gerda has lush, glossy leaves that are a vibrant green color. The leaves are palmate, with five to nine sharp, oval leaflets per stem. This plant has a sturdy, upright growth habit and can add an elegant touch to any space. Flowers are rare in this species and are not usually seen in a home environment.
Location: The Schefflera Gerda does best in a spot with bright, indirect light. It can do well indoors in a room with plenty of natural light, but can also thrive in artificial light. Outdoors, the plant can be placed in partial shade, but direct midday sun should be avoided to prevent leaf burn.
Watering needs: This plant has moderate watering needs. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out before watering again. Make sure the pot is well-draining to prevent waterlogging and root rot. During the growing season, usually spring and summer, watering can be done slightly more often than in the winter months.
