Description
Appearance of the plant: The Dionaea Muscipula, commonly known as the 'Flycatcher', has unique green leaves that are shaped into trapping cups with sharp tooth-like edges. These trapping cups close quickly to catch insects and often have a striking red interior. The leaves are usually round and form a rosette, with each leaf ending in a trapping mechanism.
Location: The Dionaea Muscipula needs a lot of light and does best in a sunny spot with direct sunlight. Indoors it can grow well on a sunny windowsill, preferably with a few hours of direct sunlight each day. Outdoors it can also thrive, as long as it is protected from extreme cold.
Watering requirements: This plant requires regular watering with rainwater or distilled water, as tap water can contain too many minerals. Keep the soil slightly moist and do not let the soil dry out. Make sure the plant is always in a humid environment.
Shipping: We pack your products in a sturdy box, specially designed for (house)plants. The plants and potting soil are protected by a protective cover. The houseplants are secured in the box. This way, your plant is not only delivered fresh and healthy, but also undamaged.
