- The Monstera Deliciosa has large, dark green leaves that are deeply cut, which makes for a striking, decorative effect. The leaves are heart-shaped and can have an attractive sheen. This plant sometimes produces white flowers, but these are rare in an indoor environment.
- This plant does best in a spot with bright, indirect light. An indoor location is ideal, but the Monstera Deliciosa can also be placed outside in a sheltered area. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, so a shady spot is recommended.
- The Monstera Deliciosa has a moderate water requirement. It is important to keep the soil moist, but not soaked. Watering can be done about once a week, depending on the ambient temperature and humidity.
